Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held at the surf club just prior to the Presentation.
We want you to be there. Specifically, we want you to step up and take on one of the various jobs that keep the junior surf club running.
In a club like ours, there is always turnover of people running things. It stands to reason: children grow up, move on to senior surf life saving or other activities, and parents move on with them.
Some of our current vacancies are critical, eg Registrar. We have to have someone managing membership and registration. Others are ongoing but less onerous: we have to have people running the barbecue.
Maybe you could be an Age Manager, take charge of a group and lead them through the parts of a Nippers session. It’s really a small step from providing on-the-spot help as you do now.
The AGM starts at 1.30pm. It would be great to see you there to support the club, then stick around for:
