REGISTRATION DAYS
Registration Day for all “Sandpipers” will be the 19th & 26th September 2010 at Corrimal Memorial Pool from 10.00am to 12.00pm. Proficiency swims will take place at the same time.
A Clearance/Transfer is required from your present/former club if you wish to change clubs. This is a requirement even if you have not been involved with the surf life saving movement for a number of years.
FEES
Fees for the coming season 2010/11 are as follows:
Little Nippers (5 year olds, Under 6, Under 7) – $10.00
Nippers – first child – $40.00
Subsequent children – $20.00
Family Membership – $100.00
Parents of “Sandpipers” are encouraged to join as associate members in order to be covered by the club’s insurance in the event of a mishap during club activities. Little Nippers cannot be granted full membership to a surf club within Australia. To cover them for insurance purposes, a $10.00 fee is required. All new junior members are required to show “Proof of Age”.
AGE GROUPS FOR JUNIOR ACTIVITY MEMBERSHIP
The following age group details are specified by Surf Life Saving Australia:
Under 14 – born between 1 October 1996 to 30 September 1997
Under 13 – born between 1 October 1997 to 30 September 1998
Under 12 – born between 1 October 1998 to 30 September 1999
Under 11 – born between 1 October 1999 to 30 September 2000
Under 10 – born between 1 October 2000 to 30 September 2001
Under 9 – born between 1 October 2001 to 30 September 2002
Under 8 – born between 1 October 2002 to 30 September 2003
The above children are eligible to compete in surf carnivals and Sunday morning nippers.
Under 7 – born between 1 October 2003 to 30 September 2004
Under 6 – born between 1 October 2004 to 30 September 2005
5 Year olds – born after 30 September 2005 (eligible to join upon turning 5)
The above children are only in the surf club on an educational basis. There will be no competition during Sunday morning nippers and they are unable to compete in surf carnivals.
